Our short and sweet review of Star Trek Into Darkness tells you what you need in under 100 words!

J.J. Abrams has scored again, delivering a highly entertaining and visually impressive film that, despite it's title, keeps plenty of the humor and witty banter that made the 2009 film such a blast. But beyond the seriously kick ass action, the trekkie dinosaur eggs, the perfect music, and some admittedly super cheesy moments, Into Darkness is a character film. Chris Pine and Zarchary Quinto deliver truly stunning performances that remind us just how powerful true friendship can be. It is the story of their characters, and their family on the Enterprise, that make this movie such a winner in my book.

(Viewing Recommendation: 2D, unless you have a real and geuine IMAX theatre, in which case, go for the IMAX sound, not the 3D).

Score: 9 / 10
