Celebrity guests promote latest technologies at world’s largest electronics event.

Popular musicians, movie stars and television personalities will promote the latest innovations shaping the consumer electronics industry during CES 2013. Actress Felicia Day will serve as the Entertainment Matters Ambassador for the Entertainment Matters at CES program. Entering its third year, Entertainment Matters at CES is designed by and for Hollywood’s film, television and digital communities.

The Entertainment Matters program includes a plethora of interesting and innovative conference sessions, including The International Academy of Web Television’s (IAWTV) conference track: The Digital Entertainment Transformation. The track features the IAWTV Keynote Conversation: Cross-Platform Storytelling with Tim Kring. Creator and executive producer of Fox TV's TOUCH and NBC's Heroes, Kring set the bar for multiplatform interactive storytelling with Heroes, and created the ground-breaking, award winning multiplatform experience. The conference track ends with a Closing Rant from Josh Feldman, Producer and co-writer for Tom Hanks’ Electric City; Executive Producer of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn and Founder of FeldmanFilms, Inc. Feldman will share perspectives on what happens when technology and content goes terribly right.

Multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award winning band Maroon 5 will be making a special guest appearance at Qualcomm Incorporated’s chairman and chief executive officer Dr. Paul E. Jacobs’ preshow CES keynote address, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 7 in The Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom on level 5. Maroon 5 has sold 15 million albums globally, with hit singles including Moves Like Jagger, This Love, She Will Be Loved, Harder to Breathe, Sunday Morning, Makes Me Wonder, One More Night and Payphone.

Rapper, entrepreneur, investor and actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, will make an appearance at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, at the SMS Audio booth (LVCC, South Hall 1, #20206). SMS audio combines technology, function and style to bring the highest caliber of sound, comfort and fashion to every product.
