It has been rumored that Microsoft is bringing out the next generation of the Xbox by the end of 2013. That isn’t the new news. The new news is that Microsoft could bring out a smart phone and tablet to go along with the system. It appears that Microsoft wants to create a gaming circle that is only Microsoft related There are rumors going around the internet that the Microsoft smartphone could be out by the middle of 2013.
Game creator Hideo Kojima feels that the newer systems have to play up connectivity. "Well I really feel that there needs to be a lot of interconnectivity, just with other devices and anything out there. So then whether it's media, music, all that, it's all connected with that console so we could do it over cell phones and tablets. All that interconnected in one place, as one media” It looks like this is the next logical step in video gaming because it would allow a company to have a monopoly in this realm. All the gaming companies want this monopoly and if they made a phone and tablet, it would give them a leg up in the competition. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft moves forward.
