Check out some of the better sounding headphones around!

During E3, I was fortunate enough to be able to get an appointment with Polk Audio. Polk has some of the better headsets/headphones for gaming! The best parts of Polk’s headsets are they work on a wide array of systems. If you want to use it on the PlayStation 4, you can. If you want to use it for the Wii U, which is the one I like to see, you can.

You don’t see developers going out and helping the Wii U owners too much and it’s great to see that Polk Audio is allowing their headsets to work universally. Also if you want to use their headsets on Xbox, it’s going to depend what controller you have. If you don’t have the newer one, you’ll need the adaptor that comes with the headsets. If you have the newer one, the adaptor comes with it.

The Striker Pro Headset comes with a detachable microphone as well as cables that allow for the headset to be combined with pretty much anything, like I mentioned before.(like the Wii U or a smartphone) The cables that it comes with also allows for seamless transition from phone call to music or gaming.  The Striker Pro minimizes Crosstalk and boosts the clarity of the microphone so you’ll get the best audio performance you can!

These headphones are some of the most comfortable headphones I have worn. The cones for the foam are leather and it slides right onto your ears. Polk had Mortal Kombat playing on the TV and I’m used to having trouble-hearing dialogue on my TV at home. The headset at the booth, I didn’t have a problem and I could hear the ambient noise going on in the woods as well. Kung Lao and I heard just enough to win the match!

It was also announced that Polk is coming out with a headset bases on the Hitman franchise, complete with special, limited edition numbering inside the headphone. These will work like a regular Striker Pro but will be designed to look the part for Hitman! It will sell for $129.00 and will be available in the fall, probably. September The individual branding inside the headphones gives them a special touch and shows another way that Polk Audio goes above for their customers!
