Quicker start up menu and easier notification system highlight the newest Wii U system update.
Nintendo is getting their act together a week before E3 and the newest Wii U system update shows that. The newest system update creates a better, more user friendly environment for the system. What that means is the Wii U will run faster and will have a quick start menu when players start the system with the Game Pad controller. The quick start menu will have the ten most frequently used programs/games/apps and the games/apps.programs will load simultaneously with the system.
Some of the main features of the system update include: system updates can be downloaded/installed when the system is in standby mode, Full screen alerts/notifications displayed on the Game Pad controller and will tell players about new updates/games/Nintendo Promos, Nintendo Network will be easier to set up initially for new users, and notifications can be accessed on the Home menu as well as Wii U menu.
I have one suggestion to make for the next system update and that is Red/Blue Pokemon games on the eShop with classic Game Boy graphics and Wi-Fi trading. It’s win-win and I know that doesn’t have anything to do with the Wii U system update but it could with the next system update.
