Nintendo will be giving players both the front and back nine in terms of downloads for Mario Golf: World Tour.
Players will be able to add more to their Mario Golf: World Tour playing experience. Nintendo will have downloadable content available for the game and will equal content that totaled the amount in previous Mario Golf games. Players will be able to download new characters as well as new courses that will add to the challenge level of the game.
“We’re letting fans expand their experience with Mario Golf: World Tour,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Some players might be content hitting the links on the numerous courses already included with the game, while others will appreciate the option of being able to add to their fairway fun with new courses and characters.”
Three download content packs will be available throughout the coming months. The Mushroom pack will be available on May 2nd, Flower pack will be available in May, and the Star pack will be available in June. 2 18 hole courses and a new character come with each download pack. Toadette will be in the Mushroom pack, Nabbit in the Flower pack, and Rosalina in the Star pack. Each pack will cost $5.99 and players can buy all three with a season pass for 15 bucks. Starting May 2. Season Pass holders will get access to each new pack as it becomes available, and will receive a special bonus of Gold Mario as a playable character at the time of purchase
