Nintendo brings back the feel of the 1990 World Championships with NES Remix 2 Championship Mode.
Going off the success of NES Remix, Nintendo has decided to bring a sequel to the eShop, NES Remix 2. This version is going to have a competition mode similar to the Nintendo World Championship from 1990 in terms of scoring and event set-up. The Championship edition from 1990 had players compete in three stages to achieve the highest combined score, using a multiplier-based scoring system. The updated version has an updated scoring system and updated games.
Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, and Dr. Mario are the three games/stages that players will have to fight through in Championship Mode. You can post your scores to Miiverse to show off against your friends. The only downside is that you need to have NES Remix to be able to play Championship Mode in NES Remix 2.
