Over 2 million copies of the anti-cyberbullying game have already been downloaded on mobile devices.

Pixelberry Studios has released High School Story for Kindle devices. The top 50 iOS and Android game directs over a hundred teen cyberbullying victims per week to professional counselors through the game, and is the most successful cyber bullying fundraiser ever.

High School Story challenges players to build their dream high school from the ground up. As of today, Kindle players can take part in the game’s engaging experiences like joining a football team, planning homecoming activities, dating and learning how to confront bullies. Additionally, the Kindle version is compatible with Amazon Game Circle, a Kindle-exclusive service allowing players to complete and track special in-game challenges and share accomplishments with friends.

“Engaging with our players about important issues like cyber bullying has been a very rewarding and humbling experience,” said Pixelberry’s CEO Oliver Miao. “We’re excited to offer Kindle players a new and fun game that also might help them through some of the difficult phases of growing up.”

In High School Story. players guide a diverse customizable cast of characters through a fun, engaging storyline about high school life. Pixelberry recently launched a cyberbullying-themed quest to positive acclaim, after partnering with award-winning anti-cyberbullying charity Cybersmile. The charity helped the team weave proven bullying prevention techniques into the game’s storyline and serves as a resource for players seeking counseling support. Pixelberry has also raised over $200,000 in donations to date for Cybersmile through in-app purchases – the most ever donated specifically for cyberbullying and nearly double the company’s original goal.

Pixelberry Studios is a mobile game company based in Mountain View, California. Founded in 2012 by EA veterans Oliver Miao, Keith Emnett and Wilson She, it is committed to creating fun, engaging games that change how people play and learn.
