Support the cause by raising money/games for the troops.

In May, gamers will be playing together for a good cause, to raise money to send games and equipment to the U.S. soldiers in the combat areas or who are recovering in military hospitals. The third annual event, called “Operation Supply Drop,” will take place on May 17th through the 18th. The money raised will be used to create care packages for the troops in Afghanistan as well as other areas the US has deployed troops. This will also help as an outlet for the troops so they have something else to think about besides the fighting.

Several well known gaming companies and personalities are partaking in Operation Supply Drop, such as Naughty Dog and Astro Gaming, and Machinima famed Rooster Teeth. For information regarding the charity event, you can check out the web site here. Fans will be able to log into the site and join teams or create their own team to raise money.

"Rooster Teeth is excited to grow the partnership we have with Operation Supply Drop as well as  provide assistance to those who dedicate themselves to serving our country,”  Rooter Teeth co-Founder Gus Sorolla, said. “Now that Operation Supply Drop has a local presence in Austin, we look forward to further collaboration."
