Titanfall's Xbox 360 version is being outsourced to Bluepoint Games.
Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming multiplayer-centric shooter Titanfall is coming to both of Microsoft’s currently supported Xbox consoles but the Xbox 360 version of the game is actually being developed by a studio that knows a thing or two about working in tandem with other developers.
Bluepoint Games has helped other developers bring their older games into a more modern generation of consoles; the studio’s past projects include the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, and the God of War HD Collection. Now Respawn and Microsoft have charged Bluepoint with bringing Titanfall’s unique take on competitive multiplayer over to the Xbox 360, ensuring that players who aren’t quite ready to make the jump to next-gen can still get in on all the hectic action Titanfall will contain.
The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will be launching alongside the game’s Xbox One and PC ports on March 11, 2014.
