Avid eSports fans can tune in now to check out the ESGN Street Fighter IV "Fight Night" tournament.
Developer Capcom has once again teamed up with eSports web broadcasting platform ESGN to present a week-long Street Fighter IV tournament aptly titled “Fight Night.”
The Fight Night tournament brings together some of the greatest Street Fighter IV players in the world including Ho Kun "Xian" Xian, Hajime "Tokido" Taniguchi, Seonwoo "Infiltration" Lee, Ryan Hart, Ryan "FChamp" Pagkaliwangan, Olivier "Luffy" Hay, Alioune "Alioune" Camara and Mike Ross in a no-holds-barred contest with the winner taking him a $25,000 cash prize. The tournament kicked off yesterday afternoon with an opening match between Ho Kun "Xian" Xian and Mike Ross but new matches will be streamed live every day for the rest of the week.
Interested fans can tune in to ESGN’s website at 3 p.m. EST for a quick 30-minute recap of the previous day’s match as well as a rundown of the latest eSports news. Then, at 3:30 p.m., the competition kicks into overdrive with a brand new match, each scheduled to last roughly 90 minutes. Previous matches, commentary, and recaps will also be broadcasted regularly on both ESGN’s website as well as its YouTube channel so don’t fret if you miss out on seeing a match live.
