Unepic and Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest highlight the games this week.

Another week has come and gone and that can only mean one thing, the Nintendo eShop catalogue updated itself. Looks like the Wii U Virtual Console and eShop have all the fun this week. Unepic and Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest highlight the games this week so without delay, let’s get right into it.

Unepic starts out just like any other game, friends having a good time. Then your character, Dan, has to leave the rest of the group and is transported to a mystical world/castle where the game takes place. The game has features from different genres like RPG, platformer, and fantasy games. It looks like the game has a lot to discover and find while you explore the castle and “level up.” Like most RPG games, you’ll have quests to finish, “pets” to control, as well as customization, like potion creation.Unepic will only set you back ten bucks so this might be one Wii U owners have to check out.

The other game comes to the Wii U Virtual Console service and that game is Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest. You play as Simon Belmont as you try to take down Count Dracula. Fight your way through the quest to find Dracula’s body parts, which will help break the curse put on Belmont. This installment brought the feature of experience gaining as you play and being able to buy weapons from merchants. Grab your trusty whip and take down the count. It will also be available on the 3DS eShop as well. Now with every update, the eShop has games onsale and this week is no different. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is $20 dollars off the regular price starting January 20th and last until the 27th. Also available this week: F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition. (Wii U eShop)Enjoy the games everyone!
