The founder's program will give benefits to some members.
It was announced recently that the company, Digital Extremes, is expanding the closed beta test for their third person action game, Warframe. This is going to create a larger number of the beta version of the game. Pre-registered users will be receiving their beta keys to access the beta version soon. They can also say the hell with waiting by joining the recently created “Warfare Founders” program. You will also be able to gain access to limited items and it looks like input in the design of the finished project.
The Founders program is being compared to a kickstarter program. One of the differences is that the Founders program is giving the potential consumer one of four options to buy and support the program. Each program has different monetary values and different perks for supporting. On the plus side, every Founders program pack has access to the beta. Being a “Founder’s only” member does have its perks, too. “Founder’s only” will gain access to the Prime Set, a Warframe that players will be able to tell who uses them in-game as an original Founder of the game.
"With the Founders Program we're hoping to find a good-sized group of devoted gamers who will be in it for the long haul alongside us," said Steve Sinclair, chief creative director on Warframe. "The best part of this delivery model is the direct
connection to our players. And with the Design Council, we get their feedback immediately and can adjust development accordingly to continue improving the experience” also said by Sinclair. The Founder’s Program won’t be around forever so don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
