Play Infocom favorites of the past like Zork and Zork 2.

It looks like with Infocom, we are going back to the simpler time of yesteryear. What I mean by that is interactive storytelling and text adventure gaming which in turn will create clever puzzles as well as unexplored worlds. The game will be available on the ipad as well as the iphone and ipod touch. The classic games have been re-created for the iPad, iPhone, and ipod touch complete with recreation of instruction books as well as boxes. You’re even getting something for free with this, Zork I: The Great Underground Empire.

One of the main ideas for Infocom is getting a whole new generation of gamers to play the old classics. You will be able to purchase games in groups of 5 for 3 bucks or buy the whole set of games. The whole group is 10 bucks and comes with all the maps for the games as well a game that never saw the light of day, “Zork: The Undiscovered Underground. Some of the games sound really cool such as Suspended: A Cryogenic Nightmare, Cutthroats, and Border Zone just to name a few I wouldn’t mind checking out. Just remember, you will need to download the service first before you will be able to get Zork 1 for free. It’s always great to see another generation of players playing a game for the first time.
