Trainers can get their hands on a special Time-Traveling Pokemon if they download Pokemon Bank.

The Pokemon Company wants everyone to use the Pokemon Bank downloadable service. They are even giving trainers a special Pokemon if the Bank is downloaded between December 27th 2013 and September 30th 2014 so with that time frame, if you miss out it’s your own fault. A special Celebi is the prize for an early download of Pokemon Bank but what makes this Celebi different from one you might already have captured?

This Celebi isn’t an ordinary Celebi by any means. This Celebi has attacks that Celebi can’t learn normally. It has the move Hold Back, which will always leave the target with 1 HP. This is similar to false swipe and other attacks that leave the target Pokemon with at least 1 HP. Celebi knows other attacks as well like Recover, Heal Bell, and Safeguard. So it looks like this Celebi will either be your main guy for captures or for healing/recovery. To get Celebi on your X or Y game, you will need to use the Pokemon Link feature. Get the gift in Pokemon Bank first and then choose Link and the Pokemon will be transported into X or Y.

If you download Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter between December 27th and January 31st, you’ll get a 30 day trial pass to see what Pokemon Bank is all about, at no charge. After the 30 day trial period, Pokemon Bank will cost a yearly price of 5 dollars.
