Double Dragon and Sega 3D Classics highlight the downloads this week.

It’s Thursday so it must be that time again and if you’ve been paying attention this whole time then I shouldn’t have to even tell you. For those who haven’t been as sharp as the rest of the class, the Nintendo eShop has updated itself, yet again. The Virtual Console and the Sega 3D Classics highlight the downloads this week so without delay, lets get right into it.

The third game from Two Tribes Gaming is Rush (Wii U). You need to guide Cubes (what is it with these guys and cubes) to different colored exits with the help of conveyor belts and other items. The stylus is the main form of control and the game allows for off-TV play with the Game Pad. Next up is Double Dragon (Wii U), one of the classic fighters from the NES days. The Black Warriors have kidnapped your (Billy Lee) girlfriend, Marian, so you’ll give them the secrets to your fighting style. You can use pretty much anything you find on the streets to fight back such as bats or whips.

The Sega 3D Classics collection gets two more games this week, 3D Galaxy Force 2 and 3D Ecco the Dolphin. The Halcyon invasion has started and it’s up to you to stop it in Galaxy Force 2. Fly in the TRY-X and stop Halcyon from invading. The game has much better graphics compared to the original and can be played in Arcade Cabinet Mode. Ecco the Dolphin has a cult following and fans of the series will be glad to play it in 3D. You need to find your dolphin family after a storm but the whole world is in danger. You can play the game in Super Dolphin Mode where health and breath never run out.

There was a 3DS system update this week which allows for Miiverse interaction on the 3DS as well as Nintendo Network ID’s coming to the 3DS as well. You can get more information on the update here.

Also available this week: Nano Assault EX( Demo and Reduced Price- 3DS eShop), Aeternoblade( Demo- 3DS eShop), Double Dragon( 3DS V.C), Jump Trials Supreme( 3DS eShop), Life With Horses 3D( 3DS eShop), My Style Studio: Hair Salon( 3DS eShop), and Orion’s Odyssey( Dsiware/3DS eShop) Enjoy the games everyone!
