Disney Infinity pays respect to one of the many fan favorite animated series.
One of my favorite Disney series growing up was Ducktales and this takes me back. Disney Interactive released the winning Toy Box creations based on the Ducktales series for Disney Infinity. There were five winning submissions and range from all sorts of ideas.
“Saving Scrooge” has you trying to find all the hidden switches inside the iconic Money Bin to unlock the Beagle Boys secret hideout. Find Scrooge and get him to the castle. “Scrooge’d” is just one large, crazy race with the course based on Ducktales. “McDuck in Danger” has you trying to rescue Scrooge from robots and “Safe Cracking” has you locating the combination to the Money Bin because Scrooge has locked himself inside. The last one, “Mega Gizmoduck,” has you trying to defeat Gyro’s somehow giant robot in a crazy one on one battle. For those who don’t know how to download new Toy Boxes, just select “toy box” from the Disney Infinity main menu. Then select “toy box share” and Disney’s toy boxes” and there will be a list of all available toy boxes to download.
If the fans show how much a following the old school franchises like Ducktales and Darkwing Duck have, they might get into the game as figures or back into the mainstream that is Disney. Still waiting for the Perry the Platypus figure if there is anyone listening at Disney Interactive.
