Virtua Fighter tournament will have cash prizes for the top 16 players.
Today Sega announced information regarding the Sega Cup, a Virtua Fighter tournament. The tournament will take place in Los Angeles at the Super Arcade on April 20th of 2013. Level|Up will be a partner-sponsor of the tourney and the top 16 players will win cash prizes. The Playstation 3 version of the game will be used in the tournament. The tournament is open to all Virtua Fighter fans and Sega will be launching an official app to go along with the tournament to properly train fighters for the tourney. The app will be released for .99 cents. This will be a great partner program to get people ready for the tournament.
