What better way to celebrate Halloween than with Dracula and Super Heroes?
Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween but let’s get down to business. The Nintendo eShop updated again but that shouldn’t surprise you at this point. There are some pretty good games coming to the eShop so let’s get right into it.
The Wii U is starting the climb back into relevance and November is going to be a big month in terms of the system making it. The month starts off with the Wii Fit U trial version being offered free for a month anytime between November 1st and Jan. 31 of next year. To keep the trial version, all you have to do is buy the Fit Meter that accompanies the game. It would appear that downloading the game this way will, in the long run, only cost 20 bucks.
Two more games coming to the Wii U eShop/Virtual Console service this week and they are Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Super Castlevania IV. In Lego Marvel Super Heroes, take the lead with all of your favorite Marvel Super Heroes and help keep Loki from destroying the world. Like other Lego games there is bound to be clever writing and fun for all ages. As for Super Castlevania IV, players play as Simon Belmont in his quest to take down Count Dracula through 11 tough stages. Along the way you’ll have to be cunning as well as smart to get past all the monsters and traps just to get to the Count. What better way to celebrate Halloween than with Count Dracula.
The 3DS Virtual Console service isn’t getting left out with the addition of Milon’s Secret Castle. You play as Milon as the quest to save the land of Hudson from the terrible Warlord from the North region. The townspeople communicate with each other through music until their instruments are stolen. Cue the music (sorry, couldn’t resist) for Milon to step in and save the day. You’ll have to search the castle for the missing music and defeat the monsters that are strewn throughout the grounds. The game will only set you back about 5 bucks so what do you have to lose?
As it seems every week, the eShop is putting game on sale and wouldn’t you know it, this week is no different. Shin Megami Tensei IV is ten bucks cheaper than usual and BIT.TRIP Presents…Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is 33 % off the regular price until Nov. 7th. The other games available this week are: Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril-Full/Demo( 3DS eShop), Angry Bunnies( 3DS eShop), Arcade Classics 3D( 3DS eShop), Ben 10 Omniverse 2( Wii U eShop/3DS eShop-Nov 5th), Beyblade Evolution( 3DS eShop), Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures( 3DS eShop-Nov 5th), Saban’s Power Rangers Megaforce( 3DS eShop-Nov 5th), Pinball: Revenge of the Gator( 3DS eShop), Snow Moto Racing 3D( 3DS eShop), and AiRace Speed-Demo( 3DS eShop).
