Halo 4 is ahead of GTA V and Xbox One Lingers in top 10
A quick disclaimer on this quick little news story. Amazon does not represent the entire video game industry on what games are the best sellers overall. Amazon used more or less as a guide to reflect how games are selling at the moment via online though they are the biggest if not of the biggest online retail chains for merchandise in general. While the list is updated hourly and things can fluctuate, higher teir games tend to stick in their place. Let's get on with the story.
GTA V is breaking all types of records in regards to sales that exceeds the one billion dollar figures as it continues to be the 'Goliath' in the video game industry. This time GTA V has dropped off from their top position at Amazon which they were controlling for awhile. Who has taken their place? Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon for years has been one of the dominant forces when speaking of game sales in the industry.
The other title may come as a surprise to some people which is Halo 4. While this title is not 'new' per se, it's still a popular franchise title that comes at very low price of $23.99. One other thing to note in the Amazon charts is the Xbox One console. Xbox One still lingers around in the top 10 of the list.
