The CEO of Crytek says Ryse: Son Of Rome will looka better now

It feels great to be back in front of the news desk once again as I've been ultra busy putting the finishing touches on my house. It's no fun painting wall after wall but I want my tenants to get the best treatment. On with the news and expect news from here on out to be "THE" hub for all your gaming needs with exclusive interviews, breaking stories, and stuff that is so hard to find that we have to send spy ants to dig deep for the story.

During my one week absence, a story broke out that the CEO of Crytek Cevat Yerli stated that Ryse: Son of Rome's E3 build received a reduction from 150,000 polygons per character down to 85,000 polygons per character. He stated that he wanted better shaders for the characters. He then recently followed up with this comment:

#Ryse there is not one single downgrade compared to E3, promised! Only UPGRADES in the final push towards finalling phase! Its FULL HD XP!

#Ryse there is not one single downgrade compared to E3, promised! Only UPGRADES in the final push towards finalling phase! Its FULL HD XP!

The last statement is quite interesting since it was recently confirmed by Microsoft that Ryse was downgraded from native 1080p down to a native 900p. It will be interesting to see what "FULL HD XP" Yerli means by his tweet.
We will stay on top of this story as we hear more breaking news. Also please exuse my posting style for the meantime as I try to accelerate my learning curve with using a Mac for the first time. I bought a brand spankin' new Mac Air 11'.
