This is quite an amazing feat as there have been skeptics if the PS4 was powerful enough to run such a game at a high level.
Over the past several months I've read many debates in a few forums if the PS4 was capable of running Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn in high settings. In other words in 1080p with 60 Frames Per Second of blistering animation. According to Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida, he explained that the game's visuals will be a equivalant to current PCs at its highest settings.
Yoshida stated the Final Fantasy title due out for the PS4 will run in 1080p at 60fps which is quite remarkable. He also mentioned that the PS4 will use some of the new DirectX 11 features along with a mouse and keyboard being implemented since their is memory to spare.
