What you need to know and did you also know that it sold out on Amazon Japan in a snap of a finger?
It's so small that Homeland Security couldn't find this even on a good day
Recently Sony conducted a press conference in Japan that hosted many cool things that are expected to come out for its Japanese customers. One of those items is the unveiling of the Vita TV micro-console specifically designed for your living room.
Yes, I did not stutter. I said a Vita consumer product designed for your 'living room.' This device is small enough to fit in your pocket as it measures out to be 2.36 x 6.93 in that will have access to popular media services like Hulu and will play a few Playstation Vita games and select PSP titles.
For 94,800 Yen (some math nerd can figure out in dollars or do a google search on currency conversions, oh wait, I just did it...the price will be $95.31), the Vita TV will also be able to remote play PS4 games. For 14,280 yen ($143.58), you can get a bundle that includes a white Dual Shock 3 and an 8GB Vita memory card.
Please come to America
The release date for this cool looking unique device is set to be on November 14, 2014 in Japan. The amazing thing was that as soon as this was announced, it sold out in hours on Amazon Japan. If this device ever releases outside of Japan (thus far no announcements on that), I personally think it would do excellent and would mark a new trend on the Vita making a comeback. Yours truly will do an article on how the Vita will make a comeback soon.
