The day when gamers are happy and EA counts the cash

September is a wonderful month, isn't? The leaves change color for the east coasters, the weather starts to cool off here in Vegas and most importantly it's the start of football season. This is also the time when sports gamers pick up their controllers to play some Madden football on their favorite consoles only to throw that same controller at their big screen TV due to frustration.

It looks like there will be some some PS4 and Xbox One controllers thrown around the living room come this November as the EA Sports Madden Twitter account had just set a release date for their Madden NFL 25 game on next-gen consoles. As shown in the pic above, there are two dates set. One date is set for November 12 on the Playstation 4 and the other date is set for November 19 on the Xbox One.

It's going to be pretty damn exciting to see how a Madden football game will stand on a next-gen console. Check out this quick blurb from EA Sports:

"Fans of Madden NFL 25 will have numerous opportunities when it comes to upgrading from the current-generation version of the game to next-gen. Whether your platform of choice is the Xbox One or the PlayStation 4, numerous retailers are offering opportunities to upgrade your experience when the new consoles launch this fall."
