I can still remember back in the 90s when the NBA Live series from EA Sports dominated that era when it came videogames for the NBA. Whether you wanted to run a simple motion offense or just liked playing some up-tempo transition basketball, the NBA Live series from the 90s had it all.
As 2K Sports came unto its own in the 2000s, they slowly but surely got the best of the NBA Live series. In fact, the NBA Live series got to a point where it was no longer competitive to compete with the 2K series that not only did they not come out with NBA Live 11 or NBA Live 12 game, they cancelled their NBA Live 13 game in the last minute.
Welcome to the present. In just two days from now, expect to see the first in-game screenshot of NBA Live 14 according to this tweet from EA Sports:

Let's wait and see what happens come Monday. Part of me is pretty friggin' excited and the other part still remembers the painful memories of the late 2000s NBA Live series. Check back here FIRST come Monday to see the first in-game screenshot for NBA Live 14!
