Nintendo wants your best Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker artwork for their latest contest.

Everyone knows that The Legend of Zelda has some of the most passionate fans in the video game universe. If you consider yourself one of the best Zelda fans and can draw, then this “Nintendo Facebook”contest is the contest for you!I have graciously bowed out of this contest because I draw like Shaq shoots foul shots! However that shouldn’t stop you from entering and the winners get some pretty cool stuff. Anyway, I have chewed your ear off enough about the contest; let’s get into what it actually is.

The basics of the contest are pretty simple: artwork based on the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Top five submissions get a Wii U system and The Wind Waker HD game. The top 55(five winners, 50 runners up I guess is a good way to put this) will have their artwork shown off at the Symphony of the Goddesses concert at the Sept. 12 performance. Fans will see the art shown off while the concert is being performed as well as in the lobby of the concert hall. This sounds like a great idea to encourage fans to be creative and everything is better with Zelda music, right? For more details on the contest, just head over to Nintendo’s Facebook Page.

The concert in Seattle has more than just the music, if that’s even possible? There will be play-stations of The Wind Waker HD and A Link Between Worlds for fans to play while they’re listening to their favorite music. Just like at E3, there will be a photo-op for fans to have their picture taken with the King of Red Lions, your ship in the Wind Waker. Remember, the Wind Waker HD launches in October and what better way to celebrate Halloween is there then beating up some Moblins.
