Capcom has confirmed that Dead Rising 3 will not be a timed exclusive and will only be coming to Microsoft's next-gen console.
During this year’s Gamescom conference, developer Capcom took the time to confirm that their upcoming Xbox One open-world zombie threequel Dead Rising 3 will not be coming to any other consoles.
In a Gamescom interview with OXM, Capcom quashed the online rumors that Dead Rising 3 would eventually see a PS4 and PC release by saying the game is "definitely not a timed exclusive, it's an Xbox One game." While this may disappoint Dead Rising fans who are firmly entrenched in the PS4 or PC camps, it is nice to have confirmation straight from the horse’s mouth.
Dead Rising 3 will join other Xbox One exclusives such as Ryse: Son of Rome and the new Killer Instinct reboot when the console launches in November.
