Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell:Blacklist and Galaga highlight the week.
The summer months are flying by but Nintendo has the cure to the summer ending blues! The Nintendo eShop has updated again this week and looks like a slow week. That doesn’t mean there aren’t worthy games to download this week. Without further delay, lets get right into it.
You’ll be able to get your hands on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist from the Nintendo eShop on August 20th so you’ll only have to wait a few more days. Sam Fisher and the 4th Echelon will try and stop the Engineers from attacking US landmarks/etc that are on the “Blacklist.” The Game Pad will be used for controlling radio controlled items and better reaction times. Quick reaction times are key in a game like this!
The Wii U Virtual Console is getting an arcade classic this week, Galaga. I can remember playing the NES version with my brother on New Years Eve and having a blast. Players will have to stop the alien invasion and make the perfect shot in time. You might even have to get caught in a tractor beam, on purpose, just to gain the double shot. That is so crazy it just might work. There are multiple sales going on this week as well from Nintendo downloadables. BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien will be onsale until Aug 29th for $11.25 and Trine 2: Director's Cut will be 8 dollars until Sept. 5th. Other games available this week: Donkey Kong( 3DS V.C.) 10-in-1 Arcade Collection( 3DS eShop) Barbie: Groom and Glam Pups( 3DS eShop) Heavy Fire: Black Arms 3D( 3DS eShop) and My Western Horse 3D.( 3DS eShop) Enjoy the games everyone.
