Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting both a Hardened and Prestige collector's edition according to new leaked intel.
According to a new leak, Activision’s and Infinity Ward’s upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Ghosts will be receiving both a “Hardened” and “Prestige” collector’s edition much like past Call of Duty games.
Both editions come with a copy of the game along with a host of other goodies including a steelbook case, a copy of the game’s soundtrack, the exclusive “Free Fall” multiplayer map, a paracord strap wristband, a player patch, a season pass which provides free access to the four planned post-release DLC packs, and several in-game items such as player cards, profile backgrounds, and exclusive customization items for the player’s character.
Fans who spring for the Prestige edition get all this plus a tactical camera which can apparently record in 1080p. According to a new listing on Amazon, the Hardened edition is currently set at $119.99 while the Prestige edition is sitting pretty at a whopping $199.99. Whether or not a sleek-looking camera is worth the extra eighty bucks is something potential buyers will have to decide for themselves but the other goodies sure do look tempting.
