Capcom and Dontnod Entertainment listed to 100 music entries in the contest.
Back in June Capcom began a search for the best remixes of Olivier Deriviere’s “Fragments” from the official soundtrack for the Remember Me video game. Since then, talented musicians from all over the world have taken the song’s stems and transformed them into beautifully diverse remixes. You can check out the game in action in the video below.
Of the 100 plus entries, all of which can be heard on Soundcloud, two remixes stood out: The relaxing electro remix by Connor Mills from Ireland (going by the pseudonym “Alaskan”), voted for by the Soundcloud community, and the awesome rock mix by Nick “Atpunk” Gonzalez from the USA, the favorite remix of the Capcom jury. Congratulations to both winners who will receive a gaming console of their choice together with a copy of the Remember Me video game, assorted merchandise and a unique vinyl LP with their winning remix in a custom made sleeve by Remember Me Art Director, Aleksi Briclot.
“I am truly amazed by the creativity of our contestants,” said Deriviere. “Their remixes introduced so many different feelings and ideas that I actually discovered new things about my own music. Thank you all for the great new memories we can all now share together!”
