The buzz surrounding the PS4 started off strong with the console’s reveal event earlier this year and only picked up steam after last month’s E3 conference. Now Sony is gearing up to kick PS4 hype into overdrive by confirming that the PS4 will be the focus of this year’s Gamescom convention and they’ll have a whole slew of PS4 games to showcase for attendees.
Many hopeful fans are keeping their fingers crossed for news about the PS Vita as well and it’s a safe bet to assume Sony wouldn’t leave them out in the cold, especially since cross-play functionality between the Vita and PS4 is one of the major features Sony is touting. Will Sony unveil a PS Vita/PS4 bundle? Will the Vita get a price drop? Will we see any new PS4-exclusive game reveals? We won’t have to wait long to find out the answers as Gamescom is set to be held late next month starting August 22 and running until August 25.
