Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures game complements the Disney XD summer TV series.

Namco Bandai Games’ Pac-Man is back in a new 3D platforming game. The beloved yellow chomping hero will star in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures on October 29, 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and STEAM; while the Nintendo 3DS version will be available on November 26, 2013.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is a new 3D world of action and adventure featuring a teenage Pac-Man and his friends, who are working together to free Pac World from the threat of Betrayus and the netherworld ghosts.

After the summer premiere of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures TV animation series on Disney XD, the show catapulted to the top spot as the #1 daily show among Boys ages 6-11 on Disney XD. Against this demographic, the show also became the #4 daily show in the U.S. and the only Disney XD daily show in the Top 6.

The TV series was produced by Avi Arad, the former head of Marvel Studios. The new game is set in this 3D TV world and adds interactivity to the mix with a lot of new characters and gameplay to explore.
