Evil Geniuses, Team Curse and ROOT Gaming play for charity and raise awareness of new Ebay features.

One Nation of Gamers (ONOG) has partnered with eBay for a month-long promotional campaign. Over the next three weeks, players from prominent eSports teams -- including Evil Geniuses, Team Curse and ROOT Gaming -- will promote eBay's newest features through charity auctions during gaming tournaments.

"This is a new marketing partnership for the electronic gaming industry," said Deric Ortiz, president of ONOG. "Players from top teams have a huge international fan base, yet these fans have remained a largely untapped demographic by industries outside of the gaming world."

Tournament games will stream on ONOG's Twitch.TV channel. During breaks in play, prominent players will promote eBay's newly streamlined listing process on Twitch.TV by demonstrating how to list items for auction. All profits from these auctions will go to charity. Fans can track their favorite team and players statistics at www.ebaycharity.gg.

Players will also show fans how to use eBay's newest feature, My Gadgets, which enables users to track the current market value of electronics they currently own. This tool can help gamers at all levels determine if it makes sense to trade in their current equipment for an upgrade.

"For Curse to be introducing another global blue chip brand like eBay into the marketing power of eSports is our biggest honor," said Nathan Lindberg, Curse Vice-President of Sales. "To us, eSports is the next hottest thing in entertainment and to have large brands believe it too has us very excited."

"If you're familiar with Evil Geniuses, you probably already know that we're good at showing our sponsors how powerful and enthusiastic eSports fans can be," said Alexander Garfield, CEO of Evil Geniuses. "We're really excited about this promotion, not just because we want to show eBay the value of the eSports community, but more importantly because we're also raising funds for a good cause."

One Nation of Gamers is a company that creates social spaces for gamers and represents gaming partners to national and global brands.
