AskMen's annual Great Male Survey has pulled in some promising results for Sony's next-gen console.
The annual Great Male Survey held by AskMen.com has finished polling men on their preferences for the latest games, consoles, and apps and the results are good news for Sony.
According to the survey, when asked whether or not they were interested in purchasing a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, 39% said yes to PlayStation 4 while only 12% said yes to Xbox One with 3% saying they were planning on buying both. As great as this is for Sony, it should also be pointed out that the largest majority of those polled, roughly 46%, said they weren’t interested in buying either next-gen console.
Other interesting yet unsurprising results included the 42% of men who said that, if money were no object, they’d spring for a high-end television, a sleeker Macbook Pro, or a better phone or tablet than what they currently had. Cheaper apps also tend to be more popular according to the survey’s results which concluded that only 9% of those surveyed would consider spending more than $5 for an app with a staggering 58% saying they have never bought an app at all and don’t plan to.
