Call of Duty fans won't have to wait too much longer to get an inside look at how Call of Duty: Ghosts will be tackling multiplayer.
Developer Infinity Ward has confirmed that new info for the multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be coming at some point in August.
Executive producer Mark Rubin made the announcement via Twitter, saying that fans can expect more multiplayer info for Call of Duty: Ghosts in the “middle” of August (he didn’t give a specific day).
Sorry I haven't been on twitter much lately. We are in our death march push to finish game. Lots left to do. Looking forward to MP in august

Normally publisher Activision waits until September to pull the curtain back on a new Call of Duty game’s multiplayer mode but the fact that DICE’s Battlefield 4 already had a playable multiplayer showcase at this year’s E3 has undoubtedly spurred Activision into moving up their timetables. Many are speculating that the reveal will take place at this year’s Gamescom which is set to be held between August 21-25.
Current-gen versions of Call of Duty: Ghosts are set to release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 5 with next-gen versions for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One planned as day-one launch titles for both consoles.
