After some initial confusion, Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed that the Deathstroke pre-order DLC for Arkham Origins will be available on Wii U.
Wii U owners were naturally a little worried when the original announcement for the exclusive Deathstroke DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins didn’t include Nintendo’s latest console on its list. Fortunatly, Nintendo fans can breathe easy as developer Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed that Deathstroke will be playable on Wii U versions of Arkham Origins as well.
In a statement given to Australian gaming magazine Aussie Gamer, Warner Bros. affirmed that not including the Wii U in the initial announcement was merely an oversight on their part and that players will be able to step into Deathstroke’s bat-hunting boots no matter which platform they pre-order Arkham Origins on.
As can be seen in the updated announcement screenshot above, it looks like the Deathstroke DLC will feature two different skins for the sword-wielding assassin as well as two bonus challenge maps to test him out on. It also looks like Batman is going to have to invest in a chin-strap as his cowl can be seen clutched in the mercenary’s hand.
