Sonic the Hedgehog and Project X Zone highlight the week in the Nintendo eShop.
It’s the end of another week and guess what, the Nintendo eShop has been updated again. This week, splash in a little old school with a little new school. Sonic the Hedgehog and the game that could be considered the best cross-over game in years is headlining this weeks’ download, so lets get right into it. Club Nintendo fans are in luck for June 28-30th as there will be a sale where if you download any Virtual Console game, you’ll earn 20 bonus coins.
The Game Gear game Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is available this week for the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. This game was one of the tougher games when it first came out and I’m sure everyone can remember that crab/lobster boss at the end of stage one. Will Sonic be able to stop Dr. Robotnik and his plans, get the game and help Sonic.
The game that could be considered the best cross-over is Project X Zone. The game groups together several characters from several games in the Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega franchises. The Ghosts demo will be available to download starting July 2nd, a few days from now. It won’t be hard for fans to see their favorite classic characters in the game so fans will want to check this game out; no matter how complicated it looks. Trust me, by the later stages with several fights going on; it’s going to get complicated.
Also available this week for the 3DS Virtual Console is Spelunker. This game comes from a simpler time in gaming. The game is one of the tougher games around and gives you that “oh my god, this is hard” feeling. The game will set you back 5 bucks and will give you that feeling of accomplishment when you beat it. Also available this week: Urban Trial Freestyle, (3DS eShop) Crystal Warriors, (3DS VC) Sonic Labyrinth, (3DS VC) just to name a few. Enjoy the games everyone!
