Elan Lee, who gave Halo 2 fans the much beloved "I Love Bees" viral marketing campaign, is returning to Microsoft.
The mind behind the “I Love Bees” viral marketing campaign for Halo 2 is returning to her roots at Microsoft. Elan Lee has signed on as the company’s new chief design officer for its Xbox Entertainment Division which is in charge of creating new original video content for Xbox platforms.
Lee will be reporting to Nancy Tellem; the former CBS executive who recently migrated over to Microsoft as head of the Xbox Entertainment Division. One of the company’s bigger Xbox video projects is no doubt the full-scale Halo: The Television Series which was announced at the Xbox One reveal event back in May and which will be produced by none other than Steven Spielberg. Considering her past Halo-related experience, Lee’s inclusion on the project seems like a smart choice.
