2K Games is offering wrestling fans a way to see their favorite WWE Superstar appear on the cover of WWE 2K14.
Even though WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has already been revealed as the contender who will be gracing the main cover of 2K Games’ upcoming WWE 2K14, the developer has decided to offer fans a way to see their other favorite superstars share the spotlight.
2K has teamed up with WWE to host an official art contest with one winner’s submission being chosen for the flip side of the game’s official cover (basically like what Bioware did with male and female Shepard for Mass Effect 3). Fans who want to put their creative skills to the test can go to the contest’s official webpage and download the supplied art elements, box assets, and images of a large selection of male and female wrestlers.
Interestingly enough, it would seem a valid Twitter account is also required since 2K wants contestants to tweet a link to their submissions along with the hashtag #WWE2K14COVER. Since the contest doesn’t provide a standard upload destination, contestants are encouraged to use services like Tumblr, Dropbox, or any of the picture services compatible with Twitter. A contestant can submit one entry per day but each entry has to be unique.
The contest is underway now and is set to end at 11:59 P.M. EST (midnight) on July 23. You can find a link to the official contest page below.
