A new Eidos community blog post has confirmed the existence of current-gen console versions of Thief.
Eidos Montreal brought some good news today to Thief fans who are hoping to ride out the current-gen console wave a bit longer.
A new post on the official Thief community blog has revealed that in addition to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, Thief will also be coming to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Even better, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch simultaneously along with their next-gen and PC counterparts.
This no doubt comes as welcome news to fans who were worried about some of the game’s recent setbacks. Still no word on a confirmed release date but at least it’s nice to know that we’ll get to step back into Garrett’s soft-soled boots without having to let our current-gen consoles collect dust.
