The man who gave gamers Bioshock Infinite has signed on to write a screenplay for Warner Bros.
Ken Levine, the head of Irrational Games and the man behind both Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite is returning to his film writing roots as he has agreed to pen the screenplay for a remake of the hit 1976 sci-fi film Logan’s Run for Warner Bros.
Those familiar with Mr. Levine’s work will remember that he wasn’t always a guy who created amazing video games. Levine actually began as a screenwriter working out of Los Angeles before he was eventually hired by Looking Glass Studios to work on System Shock and eventually went on to found his own studio Irrational Games.
Levine was careful to note that his work on Logan’s Run will not detract from his time at Irrational but that getting to write this screenplay has been a “passion project” of his for quite a while. He put it rather succinctly in a tweet he sent out recently: "I think the 10 year old me gave the 46 year old me a high five."
