Nintendo brings four of their games that were on display at E3 for the fans to test drive.
The Electronics and Entertainment Expo has come and gone and most years if you didn’t have a chance to go to LA, you would out of luck and have to wait till the release dates of the games to play them. However, this year Nintendo is doing things differently than they normally do. It started with not having a press conference at the show in LA and it continued during E3 week with more than 100 different Best Buy locations giving the fans a chance to play the demos that were available at E3.
Nintendo is bringing four of its heavy hitters to Best Buy to let player get a chance to play them. They are Super Mario 3D World, which introduced Cat Mario, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, in stunning HD, Mario Kart 8, which adds anti-gravity driving to the Mario Kart universe, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, where Kong Island has been taken over by Vikings.
People who attend the events at Best Buy will also have the opportunity to get their hands on some great Luigi stuff. From what I’ve heard online, it looks like the stores aren’t able to handle the amounts of people that are attending the events at Best Buy locations. If I needed to pick my best of E3 Nintendo games, two of which would be Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World. During E3, Nintendo didn’t make a giant splash but they didn’t have to. It would have been nice for Nintendo to bring in a new franchise but with Mario/DK/Zelda/Pikmin, Nintendo should be in good shape until that time comes when Nintendo does bring out their next big franchise.
