A new Mario & Sonic Olympics game is on the way, this one set during the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Among the new games Nintendo was showcasing at this year’s E3 conference was a new Mario & Sonic Olympics game which is set to come out later this year for the Wii U.
Sporting one mouthful of a title, Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games features Mario, Sonic, and co. heading out to Sochi, Russia to partake in the 2014 Winter Olympics in a series of different mini-games. Players will get to take control of their favorite Mario and Sonic characters and compete or cooperate with their friends in a number of different winter sports including bobsledding, snowboarding, and figure-skating.
The game will rely heavily on the Wii U’s motion controls using either the standard GamePad controller or Wii Remote Plus and will feature both solo and party-play experiences; ensuring players will still have a good time even if they’re playing by themselves.
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will be available this November.
