Square Enix has confirmed the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution will not be a Wii U exclusive after all.
Developer Square Enix had some good news today for fans of Deus Ex: Human Revolution: the updated Director’s Cut version of the game, originally slated as a Wii U exclusive, will in fact also be coming to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
The updated version of the popular new entry in the Deus Ex franchise will feature improved graphics and AI, completely re-done boss battles that allow the player to use their playstyle of choice, several balancing tweaks, and much more. The Wii U version will also have exclusive GamePad integration but I’m sure it’s comforting for non-Wii U owners to know they won’t have to go out and buy a new console if they want to play this improved version of Human Revolution.
Much like the Wii U version, no release date has been set for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut and Square Enix also couldn’t clarify whether the Wii U version would be released first or if the Director’s Cut would be simultaneously released on all four platforms. Hopefully fans won’t have to wait too much longer to once again step into the cybernetic boots of Adam Jensen.
