EA and DICE are giving away free copies of the Battlefield 3 Close Quarters expansion to commemorate this year's E3.
In celebration of E3 and all the new Battlefield 4 news that’s been released, EA and DICE are offering a few exclusive treats for Battlefield 3 Premium Members as well as a free copy of the Battlefield 3 Close Quarters expansion to all players this week only.
From now until June 18 (or 19 depending on your region and timezone) you can grab the Battlefield 3 Close Quarters expansion which contains four new maps, ten new weapons and assignments, and five new dog tags to earn for the game’s multiplayer component. This offer is open to all Battlefield 3 players, even non-Premium ones. Xbox 360 and PS3 players will find the expansion listed for 0 cost in their respective in-game stores and PC players can get their free copy by going to the “Redeem Product Code” section of the Origin client and typing in the code “BF3E3” (without the quotes).
If you happen to be a Battlefield 3 Premium Player, you can also partake in an exclusive week-long double xp event that lasts for a whopping 144 hours (starting Tuesday, June 11 and lasting until June 18). Battlefield 3 Premium Members will also unlock an exclusive “Tombstone Squad” dog tag simply for being a Premium Member during the week of E3 and, for those who aren’t Premium Members yet, EA has cut the price of Premium in half to just $14.99 for the duration of E3.
