This year's E3 conference presentations closed out with a major showing from PlayStation 4 developer Sony.

Sony took to the stage to close out this year’s E3 conference presentations and we’ve got all the highlights in case you missed them.

First up, the system details: Sony finally revealed the sleek and compact design of the PlayStation 4 system and revealed several new and welcome details regarding its price and used games policy. There will be no restrictions or fees associated with used games and the system itself will be priced at a cool $399; a far cry from the Xbox One’s $499 price point.

Returning IP’s with new gameplay trailers included Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Watch Dogs (with the debut of the game’s neat new mobile app), Infamous: Second Son, and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

Sony also announced several brand new titles including Square Enix’s long-awaited Final Fantasy XV (which was originally Versus XIII) and Kingdom Hearts 3, a new indie game called Transistor from SuperGiant Games, an enigmatic new horror/action game from God of War developer Sony Santa Monica called The Order: 1886, and a new game based on the popular Mad Max movie franchise.

Several online games were also on display. Sony confirmed they’ve entered into a partnership with Bethesda Studios and are bringing the upcoming MMO Elder Scrolls Online to the PlayStation 4. Even better, Sony also confirmed that the closed beta for Elder Scrolls Online will be available on PlayStation 4 first. Bungie also showed up to show off an exclusive gameplay trailer for their “not an MMO” Destiny which featured a harrowing dungeon romp followed by a tense and thrilling dynamic group event.

Sony has made it clear that they plan to support indie gaming, Vita integration, and completely original content with the launch of the PlayStation 4. And with a whopping $100 gap separating the two next-gen systems, it’s pretty easy to see which developer will be having the easier time come this holiday season when both next-gen consoles are set to launch.
