Dead Island developer Techland has revealed a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming zombie free-running game Dying Light.
The developer behind the popular Dead Island franchise isn’t quite ready to jump off the zombie train just yet. In addition to their upcoming medieval zombie-slasher Hellraid, Techland is also releasing a new parkour-centric zombie-survival game called Dying Light and they’ve launched a new CGI trailer to make it official.
The trailer features a group of free-runners navigating through a series of environments as they struggle to evade the zombie hordes and make their way towards a supply cache on a distant rooftop. The trailer contains the usual cinematic and emotional flair Techland’s trailers are known for along with a few hints at some of the combat maneuvers players will get to employ and some of the different zombies they’ll be up against. The end of the trailer also reveals that zombies might not be the only threat players have to contend with….
Dying Light is set to release sometime next year for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
