Nintendo Store will start E3 week off in style, Animal Crossing style
The Nintendo Store in New York City will be getting a make over for the upcoming release of Animal Crossing: New Leaf this Saturday June 8th. The event runs from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. The store will be transformed into the charming town from the games that you reside in and are the mayor of. Fans will be able to play different Animal Crossing themed games to collect Animal Crossing swag. So without further delay, let’s get right into it!
The festivities range from the aforementioned games that guests can play to grab different Animal Crossing buttons. The games are based on different Animal Crossing events like fishing or fossil finding. As long as there isn’t one based around weeding the town, then everyone will be happy. If dancing is more your thing, then the second floor of the Nintendo Store is where you’ll want to go. There will be a DJ playing music that’s got a beat that you can dance to! You might get lucky and K.K. Slider will be performing but his schedule will have to change, seeing as though he doesn’t go on usually until after the store closes.
There will also be plenty of photo-ops at the Nintendo Store so everyone can remember this great day. Fans will be able to have their pictures taken with cutouts of popular characters from the series. Fans will also be able to get their hands on the special edition Animal Crossing 3DS XL earlier than everyone else. Granted, it’s a day earlier but you’ll be able to say you had the game for a whole day before everyone not at this party. The first 100 people to buy the game or the bundle at the event will get a limited edition Animal Crossing: New Leaf 3DS skin.
