Zumba's dance fitness craze has reached critical mass and will be coming both the Wii U and Xbox One.
Zumba Fitness has taken the world by storm over the last few years by offering a fun form of exercise that molds the worlds of dance and aerobic training. Zumba's Latin American inspired workouts initially were kept to gyms or to living rooms via workout tapes. But over the last few years, Zumba has snuck into the interactive world via multiple game titles, thanks to the continuing growth of motion controls.
Majesco announced today that Zumba Fitness would carry on into the next generation with Zumba Fitness World Party, coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, and Wii U in October of this year.
Zumba Fitness World Party will feature a number of new modes and features. With over 40+ new songs, 30+ dance styles, and the chance to virtually travel across the world, Zumba Fitness World Party looks to satisfy every need that Zumba fans have been waiting for. The team behind the games are completely sold on the title and they believe this brings Zumba to the next level.
"The World Party game has always been a dream for us,” said Jeffrey Perlman, CMO of Zumba Fitness. "Zumba blurs the lines between fitness, entertainment and culture. As such, we wanted to create a game that explored different dance cultures from around the world. World Party unites the player with the global community of dance through an interactive experience that delivers both physical and emotional benefits."
If you are looking for a new way to spice up your exercises, Zumba Fitness World Party might be right up your alley.
