Yeah. He's one of those guys.

After Minecraft, Mojang is looking to find success in their second big indie title, Scrolls.

After years of legal battles and a fairly slow development process, Mojang's next team developed title, Scrolls, is nearing release and will feature an open beta next week, on June 3rd.

Announced over two years ago, Scrolls is a card-based strategy game, a far cry from their first title, the mining survival game, Minecraft.

The game looks to feature a fairly snazzy art style, tons of replayability, and some great multiplayer action. Little has been released about the game, besides the few public demos that Mojang has crafted at various events, but it looks like the kind of game people will be playing for a very long time. For full details on how to play, Mojang has released an early mini-guide on their website.

As revealed in the trailer, the game will see a "release" on June 3rd with the open beta. At $20, gamers can dive right into Mojang's latest release. It would be wise to expect the game to recieve a plethora of updates after the game is released, as they did with Minecraft in the past.

This isn't the only game at work by members of Mojang though, as a few years back, Mojang's founder, Notch, revealed he had begun development on a solo project named 0x10c. Much like Minecraft began, 0x10c is Notch's project and his alone.

Gamers have a lot to expect from the Mojang team over the next few years, as Minecraft continues to be changed, as Scrolls gets a full release, and as Notch's 0x10c gets further along. It'll be an interesting ride, no doubt.
